Rodgers & Co’s tribute to Paul Rodgers is an electrifying celebration of one of rock’s most iconic voices. This tribute performance captures the essence of what made Paul Rodgers such a beloved figure in rock history and an inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Fans know every song and sing every chorus and become part of every show.  Celebrating the music of Bad Co, Free and The Firm, with selections from Queen + Paul Rodgers and a celebration of Bad Co's Swan Song record label legacy with Led Zeppelin, the show is modeled after Bad Co's 2016 tour and features popular Akron, Ohio singer Brad Johnson.

THE BAND

Brad Johnson  

Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar

From Akron, Ohio - Brad delivers the powerhouse vocals that Paul Rodgers is known for.  His influences include greats such as Paul McCartney, John Waite, Steve Perry, Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury and of course Paul Rodgers.  Possessing a wide vocal range, Brad brings the high range power of Robert Plant and Freddie Mercury performances as well.  He also performs with the popular Northeast Ohio classic rock acts  “Eclpise” and “Formula 4” .

 

Frank Bonvenuto 

Lead Guitar and Vocals 

A Pennsylvania native - Frank began guitar playing at age 8 and is heavily influened by greats Mick Ralphs, Paul Kossoff and Jimmy Page. He brings the energy each show that these guitar greats created.   Frank also performs with the popular Northeast Ohio classic rock act “Eclipse” .

 

 

Jim Golen

Guitar, Keyboards and Mandolin 

From Warren, Ohio - Jim is an accomplished multi instrumentalist that refines the Rodgers & Co sound.  He has toured the US and Canada in the 80s with the popular Cleveland band “Love Affair”.  Jim also performs solo, with the acclaimed Moody Blues tribute “Time Traveller”  and “Formula 4” .

 

 

Doug Knipp

Bass and Vocals

From Akron, Ohio - Doug holds down the bottom for Rodgers and Co, delivering the energy that Andy Fraser and Boz Burrell brought to the bass.  Doug can also be seen performing with the poplular Northeast Ohio Classic Rock act “My Drunken Uncle” .

Michael Hanna

Drums 

From Akron, Ohio - Michal holds down the “Rock Steady” beat that Simon Kirke was known for.  He also performs with “The Lees Brothers”  in the Akron area.
